Participating Venues
The preselected venues were chosen from the 33 boroughs in London with a specific focus on six areas with the highest relative proportion of black African men and women. The remaining fourteen boroughs in the top 20 were given numbers and randomly selected. Of the now chosen ten boroughs (Greenwich, Southwark, Lambeth, Barking and Dagenham, Lewisham, Barnet, Wandsworth, Merton, Hackney and Newham) 10 wards were chosen using the same method. From these wards, all venues with valid premises licenses were added to the database.
Venues
